But the real question be say—this movement na serious matter or just another online cruise wey go fade with time?

On one side, you get the City Boys—people wey believe say life na enjoyment, connections, packaging, and knowing the right people. Their vibe loud, their confidence high, and their lifestyle dey shout “we dey outside.” For them, success na showing results, living big, and moving with influence. No time for suffering, na sharp sharp lifestyle dem believe in.

Then enter the Village Boys—these ones no send all the flashy lifestyle. Their message simple: stay real, stay humble, and no forget where you come from. Dem believe say life no be by packaging but by hard work, patience, and understanding the real struggle of the common man. Their supporters dey push the idea say not everything be about money and show off.

As expected, Nigerians don turn the whole thing into content—memes, videos, arguments, and even subtle insults flying everywhere. One person go say “you no get money, na why you dey shout village boy,” another go reply “better pass fake life wey you dey live.” At this point, e don pass ordinary trend, e don become identity for some people.

But make we talk true—this whole City Boys vs Village Boys matter, na really about lifestyle and mindset, or na just another way to divide ourselves for online? No be to judge anybody, but which side really make sense in today’s Nigeria? Or better still… you sef, which one you be?
